The collaborative partnership aims to broaden Mon Protocol’s range and fortify the Pixelverse gaming community.

On Tuesday, Mon Protocol, the blockchain publishing protocol for gaming intellectual property (IP) and Web 3 games, announced a strategic alliance with Pixelverse, a blockchain-based play-to-earn quest battler game. This collaboration will enable Mon Protocol to utilize Pixelverse’s gameplay, expanding its gaming portfolio and joining the ranks of top Web 3 games such as Playground, Aether Games Inc., Moby, and Kokodi.

Conversely, Pixelverse will gain from the expanding Mon Protocol community, which currently comprises 1.1 million users, enhancing its gaming community and extending its global presence.

Moreover, the partnership announcement teased an upcoming airdrop for the Pixelverse token, $TPZ, targeting MON token holders. The specifics of the airdrop plan are yet to be disclosed, but active participants in the Pixelverse community and long-term MON token holders will receive priority during the airdrop process.

Addressing the community rewards strategy, Kirill Volgin, CEO of Pixelverse, remarked:

“Our primary focus is to reward questers and early adopters with their initial exposure to cryptocurrency through immersive gameplay. This partnership is in line with our objective to deliver an educational yet entertaining entry point into the crypto realm.”

Furthermore, the airdrop aims to provide players with more opportunities to engage with the platform and earn rewards within the community.

Empowered by the $MON token, Mon Protocol enables users to publish Web 3 games and their IPs. The platform empowers players to bring their beloved metaverses, players, and characters onto the blockchain, enabling them to delve into the world of Web 3 gaming.

The collaboration with Pixelverse propels the platform towards its objectives as Pixelverse introduces users to the broader gaming metaverse. Pixelverse immerses players in an AI-driven cyberpunk universe, offering a quest-based battler experience that promotes exploration, resource gathering, and combat.

Additionally, Pixelverse is progressively cultivating robust communities within the Web 3 gaming sector, particularly in emerging markets, earning praise from Mon Protocol’s Co-founder, Giulio Xiloyannis.
