Melania Trump, the spouse of former President Donald Trump, introduced a Mother’s Day necklace on Sunday that includes a complimentary matching NFT on the Solana blockchain.
Named the “Her Live and Gratitude” necklace, Trump’s most recent creation “can be personalized with names, initials, or important dates to craft a unique piece of jewelry.”

Priced at $245, purchasers will also get a “limited edition digital collectible” minted on the Solana blockchain alongside the gold vermeil pendant.
“Motherhood is one of life’s most significant roles,” Trump expressed in a statement on Sunday. “For this Mother’s Day, I have designed the “Her Love and Gratitude” necklace to convey immense appreciation and pay tribute to all mothers.”

The customizable necklace and corresponding NFT represent the newest venture for the controversial political personality, who initially capitalized on the trend by vending a digital token named “Melania’s Vision” in December 2021.
Trump, whose own mother passed away earlier this year, has predominantly remained out of the public eye amidst Donald Trump’s campaign leading up to the 2024 U.S. presidential election.
In April 2023, the former Republican leader launched the second edition of his contentious Trump Digital Trading Cards for $99, causing the value of the initial set of NFTs released in December 2022 to plummet significantly.
Information from OpenSea indicates that Trump’s NFT brand might be waning, as the most recent recorded sale of the tokens transpired over three weeks ago.
Donald Trump’s Stance on Cryptocurrency
Despite criticizing cryptocurrencies previously, Donald Trump has been actively involved in the crypto space, mentioning to CNBC that he enjoys “making money” and “engaging in small activities for enjoyment” earlier last month.
