Japan Media Arts Inc. has revealed details regarding the inaugural launch of their idle blockchain game, “ELYSIUM’S EDGE,” featuring a collaboration with renowned manga artist Kamui Fujiwara and the introduction of exclusive “Meat NFTs” that grant dining privileges at Shibuya Niku Yokocho.

The joint venture, Elysium’s Edge, known as “Erikuri,” is spearheaded by Japan Media Arts Inc., with Frontier Works Inc. overseeing illustration production, KINGSYSTEM PTE. LTD managing publishing, and Vanguard CO., LTD providing development assistance.

Manga luminary Kamui Fujiwara, acclaimed for works such as “Emblem of Roto,” has officially joined Erikuri, in line with the project’s objective of involving a diverse array of creators and writers in a unified world concept.

Fujiwara’s responsibilities encompass supporting Erikuri’s social endeavor, the Erikuri Asia Social Action project, by crafting illustrations for NFTs. These NFTs will serve not only as a fundraising mechanism for the project but also possess practical functionalities within the game. Moreover, each transaction involving these NFTs will trigger a designated donation to the social support initiative. The visual unveiling of these NFTs is slated for the upcoming second sales event in the summer.

Unveiling of “Meat NFTs” for Culinary Privileges at Shibuya Niku Yokocho

A pact has been forged with Shibuya Niku Yokocho, a renowned meat-centric entertainment hub in Tokyo, to introduce an innovative Web3-linked concept termed “Meat NFTs.”

The Meat NFTs concept revolves around the utilization of NFTs that can be acquired or bought within the Erikuri game or its affiliated outlets. Subsequently, these NFTs can be traded for dining benefits at various establishments within Shibuya Niku Yokocho. This service is slated to debut concurrently with the official game launch anticipated in December 2024.

As gamers engage with the game, they will have opportunities to secure vouchers, fostering heightened patronage at participating venues. Simultaneously, this initiative aims to amplify the circulation and holdings of ELYGT (ELY Governance Token), issued by KINGSYSTEM PTE. LTD., thereby augmenting the token’s valuation.

Through the inception of the inaugural sale, Erikuri strives to stabilize the circulation and enrich the worth of its exclusive token through external partnerships facilitated by ELYGT. The primary objective is to instill enduring customer confidence in token management.

The maiden sale will kick off at 11:00 AM (GMT) on April 26th (Friday), offering NFTs for in-game utilization alongside predefined utility scenarios for the governance token, ELYGT, extending beyond the confines of the game.
