Qtum Foundation Deploys 10,000 GPUs to Empower Blockchain AI Ecosystem

Singapore, Singapore–(Newsfile Corp. – April 22, 2024) – The Qtum Foundation has proudly announced the integration and activation of 10,000 Nvidia GPUs to drive AI initiatives.

The deployment includes:

  • Qtum Solstice: Discover more at Qtum Solstice. This conversational chatbot, similar to ChatGPT, utilizes open-source models to engage users in intelligent and supportive conversations.
  • Qtum Qurator: Explore further at Qtum Qurator. This text-to-image generation model, akin to Midjourney, leverages open-source models to enable users to create images that typically require extensive work in image editing software.

The Qtum Foundation sees artificial intelligence as the natural progression in its exploration of Web3. Miguel Palencia, Co-Founder of Qtum, envisions an ambitious roadmap for AI, encompassing a 3-stage rollout plan. The initial stage unveils the chatbot and image generator, with subsequent stages focusing on the modeling layer and the decentralized economy layer, integrating all components on the Qtum blockchain.

Following the deployment of Solace and Qurator in stage 1, Qtum Foundation will concentrate on enhancing the underlying technology of its products. Qtum developers have been actively involved in AI developments predating the ChatGPT launch, gaining expertise in four key areas:

  • Intelligent Dialogue: Encompassing knowledge base Q&A systems and text-based games.
  • Speech Generation: Involving text-to-speech, speech-to-text, and cross-language conversations.
  • Image Generation: Including text-to-image conversion, image super-resolution, 3D cartoon image generation, and AI-driven face swapping.
  • Video Generation: Enabling video re-rendering/face swapping, animated illustrations, and other resource-intensive video manipulation technologies.

Leveraging these technologies, Qtum developers can introduce various AI features such as keyword-based image/video generation, emotional AI voice-based conversational bots, intelligent image recognition, and AI-based filters and photo effects. The decentralized nodes of Qtum offer the opportunity to open-source AI models and engage the community in developing innovative AI products. The Qtum Foundation plans to unveil up to 10 additional AI-related products in the upcoming months to fully harness the potential of the 10,000 GPUs.

Data Center

While basic access to Qtum AI services will be complimentary, premium features such as renting substantial computing power or blockchain-based IP protection with Qtum tokens are in the pipeline.

Qtum’s foray into AI signifies a commitment to pioneering technology that will shape future industries. The integration of AI with the QTUM token underscores its significance within the ecosystem.

With a track record of delivering advanced products ahead of the curve, Qtum continues to set benchmarks in the blockchain space. Notably, in 2017, the Qtum Blockchain introduced an EVM-capable smart contract platform with native UTXO support, staking, and adjustable gas fees and block sizes for enhanced throughput without necessitating a hard fork, all while maintaining decentralization and environmental sustainability.

About Qtum

Qtum is a blockchain platform that merges Bitcoin’s security with Ethereum’s smart contract capabilities, focusing on decentralized governance, speed, and energy efficiency. Its governance model empowers the community to adjust critical features through smart contracts. Qtum’s network can process approximately 1100 transactions per second, with the potential for millions to billions of transactions per second through layer-1 and layer-2 solutions. Utilizing a proof-of-stake system, Qtum enables staking with low-powered devices or offline participation.
