Chosen for its support of gaming and social applications, Sui, a platform selected by BytePlus, offers features like zero-knowledge proofs for user authentication and sponsored transactions that simplify user access.

BytePlus, a subsidiary of ByteDance, delivers services such as content distribution networks, personalization solutions, user engagement tools, and data analysis. These services are now accessible to developers on the Sui (SUI) platform, empowering them to build applications.

Among the services provided is BytePlus Recommend, enabling developers to craft personalized user experiences. Additionally, BytePlus Effects offers a vast collection of over 80,000 stickers and effects for video applications. When combined with Sui’s NFT approach, these services are expected to foster the creation of innovative social applications.

Subsequent to the partnership announcement, the Sui blockchain experienced a significant upsurge. As per CoinGecko, SUI is currently trading at 1.26, reflecting a 5.4% increase in the last 24 hours, with a market capitalization of around 1.63 billion.

Given the potential ban of TikTok, a social media platform under ByteDance facing threats from the United States government, the shift towards providing services on a decentralized network could offer valuable opportunities.
