Earlier this year, Cathie Wood of Ark Invest surprised cryptocurrency enthusiasts with her forecast that Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) could potentially reach $1.5 million by 2027. Wood’s optimism stems from the recent green lights given to Bitcoin’s inaugural spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs), heightened institutional investments, and the forthcoming halving event for Bitcoin, which is poised to increase the cryptocurrency’s mining difficulty, thereby attracting a surge of bullish sentiment towards the premier digital currency.

However, Wood’s projections for Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH) are even more bullish. With Ethereum currently priced around \(3,200, Wood’s "Big Ideas" presentation from early last year suggested that Ethereum’s market capitalization might surpass \)20 trillion, necessitating a token value exceeding $166,000 by 2032. The question remains: Can Ethereum’s value truly skyrocket by over 5,000% to achieve this ambitious target?
